About myself (Part 1)
(Basic information)
My Family and Me:
Sure! Iâm Makbul Hossain, but you can call me Babu. My name has a beautiful meaning: 'friend.' My grandma gave me this name, and I am proud of her.
I was born and raised in a wonderful family in Aranagar, a small village in Naogaon District, where my childhood was filled with love and care. I have five siblings, and unfortunately, my parents and grandparents have passed awayâmy father in 2007 and my mother in 2016. My father was a landowner, and my mother was a homemaker.
My siblings are very friendly and supportive, and I am truly proud of them. They live in our village, where my brothers are landowners and involved in local businesses. My sister is married, lives with her husband, and is a homemaker. Her husband is also a property owner and a wealthy man.
Or
I come from a close-knit family in Rampura, Dhaka City. My father is a doctor dedicated to serving our community, and my mother is a teacher who inspires and educates the next generation. My sister is an engineer working at Bako Tech Ltd., and my younger brother is currently studying law at North South University.
Family:
In my family, I am fortunate to have a supportive and accomplished network. My father is a doctor, dedicated to serving our community, while my mother is a teacher, inspiring and educating the next generation. I have one sister who is an engineer, and my younger brother is currently studying law. Each member of my family has pursued their passions and careers with diligence, and they have greatly influenced my own aspirations. As the saying goes, âThe apple doesnât fall far from the tree.â
In my family, I'm lucky to have a supportive group. My dad is a doctor who helps our community, and my mom is a teacher who inspires young people. I have one sister who is an engineer and a younger brother studying law. Each of my family members works hard in their careers, and they have inspired me in my own goals. As they say, âThe apple doesnât fall far from the tree.
Job:
Professionally, I am currently working as a Software Developer at a leading tech company in Dhaka, where I focus on developing innovative solutions to enhance user experiences. My previous experiences include internships at various startups, where I honed my programming skills and learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Through these roles, I have developed skills in programming languages like Java and Python, as well as expertise in web development. In this field, I truly believe that âpractice makes perfect.â
Hobbies
Outside of work, I have a variety of interests and hobbies. I enjoy playing cricket and reading science fiction novels, and I also have a passion for learning new languages. These activities allow me to express my creativity and stay balanced in my life. As they say, âAll work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.â
Achievements
I am proud of my achievements, including completing several successful projects during my internships and receiving recognition for my contributions to team efforts. Each experience has taught me valuable lessons and prepared me for future challenges. Looking ahead, my short-term goal is to become a lead developer within the next few years, while my long-term aspiration is to establish my own tech startup. I believe that continuous personal and professional development is vital for success. After all, âthe sky's the limit.â
Initiatives
The values that guide my life include integrity and teamwork. I believe in contributing positively to my community and supporting causes that matter. Whether through volunteering at local organizations or advocating for educational initiatives, I strive to make a meaningful impact. âA little kindness goes a long way,â and I try to live by that principle.

Daily Routine
I wake up early in the morning, usually around 5 am, and at first, I brush my teeth, and I wash my face. Then, I go to the mosque for Fajar prayer, which is the first prayer of the day. I usually go to the Central Mosque of my community because it is located near a park. After prayer, I like to take a walk in the park for about half an hour to get some fresh air and exercise. When I return home, I take a shower and get dressed for the day ahead.
I have my breakfast at 8 am and take some things for the day. Then, I drive to my office. My office begins at 9 am, so I try to arrive 15 minutes early. Once I arrive, I check my emails and important documents. After that, I proceed with my daily activities as usual.
I work in my office until 5 pm. After that, I usually go shopping to buy food, household items, and groceries before returning home. Once I'm back, I change into comfortable clothes and take a short rest while having a snack. Then, I head to the gym for an hour and a half to exercise. Once I'm done, I come back home to freshen up and have dinner. After dinner, I like to relax on my rocking chair, read a book, or listen to music. I usually go to bed around 10:30 pm. My weekend routine is a bit different, though.
